IB school overview dashboard - EdPotential

Using EdPotential, you are given access to an overview dashboard as well as the ability to filter results to see specific data points. This article outlines how to access some key features as an IB school.

Start by logging in to your EdPotential account.

Please remember to logout at the end of your session! Not only is this good data security practice, but it will also ensure that your data selections and filters will be cleared before your next session.

School Overview Dashboard

Once you have successfully logged in, you will see an Overview Dashboard.

This dashboard allows you to view overall results achieved within your school. IB grades are split by:

• IB Scores (1-7) 
• IB Grades (A-F)
• IB Diploma Results (Awarded and Not awarded)

You can click into any summary, and deselect grades from any chart by clicking on the key icon in the key box located underneath the x axis. This will remove the grade from the overall chart. Simply repeat the action to bring it back!

This same action can be completed in any chart in EdPotential.

You may also change the layout of a chart. Here's an example of how:

1. In the Overview Dashboard, click the down arrow alongside IB (Scores).
2. In the upper right hand corner of the chart, click the drop down menu box. Click any option to change how the data is displayed.
3. Simply repeat the action to revert it back to the original state.

Move your cursor over the chart data plots to view details on each of the grade segments.

How can I view who passed IB diploma?

1. Navigate to the Explore the data screen, and click Present the data.
2. Click Browse (located underneath What do you want to plot?) and select your options:
   1. Select the required Qualification (e.g. IB)
   2. Select the required Programme (e.g. Diploma)
   3. Select the required Result (e.g. Diploma)
   4. Select the required Results (E.g. Pass/Fail)
3. Select the Years of interest (E.g. 2021)      
   1. You can select multiple years if you wish!
4. A chart will be automatically generated.

How can I view the total points achieved by a cohort?

1. Navigate to the Explore the data screen, and click Present the data.
2. Click Browse (located underneath What do you want to plot?) and select your options:
   1. Select the required Qualification (E.g. IB)
   2. Select the required Programme (E.g. Diploma)
   3. Select the required Result (E.g. Diploma)
   4. Select the required Results (E.g. Total Points)
3. Select the Years of interest (E.g. 2021)
